What an amazing day!
Woke up feeling absolutely tickerty boo ;-)
I was reminded last night that my headaches may be down to my cold that I have been battering away for the last couple of days so my sinus' have been quite poorly, plus the encroaching thunderstorms today.
I had a day out today; away from normality and away from the family (on a Saturday!), yay! So this meant I had to be organised, which kind of worked. I had a shake for breakfast in the car and had a small, low cal lunch which was yummy. I did start getting a headache around lunchtime but that may of been the effects of today's environment. The bee pollen helped with my energy levels and I sneaked in a Fab X (no cal energy drink ...... that I have just realised has caffeine in it, doh!), ah well, no-ones perfect ;)
Tonight I enjoyed a big plate of fresh, steamed vegetables as I know that they have very limited calories and so combined with my lunch, I believe that I have eaten 600 calories. The funny thing was, I could only eat half of my food as I was full. I am conscious of the fact that you need to eat the 600 calories as otherwise your body goes into starvation mode. My shake was desert.
(TMI - I had a couple of 'Aloe Moments' today (or flushes as I called them yesterday)
Alex bought through the chocolate this evening claiming to of forgotten I wasn't eating, so he 'quietly' ate it in the kitchen, lol. Funnily enough though, I didn't want any :-)
I did it.... I completed DAY 3

Day 2
I woke up earlier than normal this morning, feeling good except for a headache. I have resisted any headache tablets or ibroprofen *go me*!
(TMI - Bowel habits are pretty good, but I wonder if that is because I have already been taking Aloe for a couple of weeks and my body is used to it. I had a 'flush' last night and again this morning!)
I feel as energetic as yesterday but the headache has been consistent for majority of the day. I tried a caffeinated drink but it didn't make any difference so at least I can safely say that my pre-cleanse* worked and that the headache is purely down to the toxins leaving my body :-)
*Part of the pre-cleanse is to cut down the caffeine intake before starting the Clean 9 so that the cleanse isn't as difficult to handle.
It's ONLY 9 days and I have nearly done 2 - the worst 2 days out of the 9 is nearly over....
I am craving food, I'm not hungry but I 'fancy' having a munch on something nice... Again, preparing Matthews food was difficult but not drastic as I was looking forward to my shake. At this point I would like to say thank you to Alex for eating outside tonight whilst I was inside the house so that I didn't drool at him eating, lol!
I sneakily did a quick measure of a few parts of my body tonight as a reminder why I am doing this and that it is worth my while.... Lets just say I am looking forward to the pics / measurements at day 10 :-D
It might be worth a mention that there are 2 different shake flavours - Vanilla and Chocolate. I started the 'Chocolate' Clean 9 in the beginning of the year but unfortunately I didn't complete the cleanse as, in my personal opinion the shake was vile! I am a chocolate lover but if you love chocolate like me you would understand that there is a huge difference between Cadburys and Nestle! Unfortunately the shake isn't of Cadburys calibre!

Day 1
I'm really excited about this cleanse! Getting rid of the sludge and ridding my body of unnatural chemicals.
Sounds delightful, no?
Photo's and measurements were taken last night for the 'Before' pics and weighed myself this morning.... I'm ready...
Lets get this underway...
Well it's a usual day taking the Aloe but having a fair bit more than normal!
Taking the Garcinia Plus and Bee Pollen was absolutely fine I didn't feel too hungry and felt quite energetic although I could tell when I was due the next lot. I found that I drunk a lot more water than the minimum the book suggests to stop any cravings.
A work colleague brought in some naughty chocolate snacks, inc one of my favourites - Mini Millionaires Shortbread! Aghhh! But I managed to ignore them all day *proud of me*.Although I know they will still be there tomorrow as I hadn't eaten them all like I would normally do (see, I've saved myself putting on a few lbs already!). I remind myself that it is ONLY 9 days and I have nearly completed the first day successfully, I can treat myself another day :-)
I can't believe that I totally forgot to measure the biggest part of me last night - my bum! Doh! Measured it tonight so it won't be quite as accurate as I would of wanted.
I did find making Matthew's snack tonight quite difficult as I would normally have a tit bit whilst making his dinner or / and eat his leftovers, lol! I had the mantra 'Do not eat, do not eat, do not eat the leftovers'...
Slight headache tonight. That will be the toxins coming out :-)
I did it... I completed DAY 1
